Liaisons
The following EU projects are related to PONTE:
Linked2Safety
– The project develops an advanced environment for clinical research that enables seamless, secure and consistent integration of clinical care information in EHR with information in clinical trial systems, which will facilitate a) the early detection of patients’ safety issues, b) the identification of adverse events and c) the identification of a suitable critical mass of patients to participate in small (Phases II and III) or larger scale (Phase IV) clinical trials

DebugIT
– The project uses clinical and operational information from Clinical Information Systems (CIS) across the European Union through the view of a virtualized, fully integrated Clinical Data Repository

EHR4CR
is -to date- one of the largest public-private partnerships aiming at providing adaptable, reusable and scalable solutions (tools and services) for reusing data from Electronic Health Record systems for Clinical Research.

TRANSFoRm
-interoperability between different clinical systems, across national boundaries, and integration of clinical systems and research systems

epSOS
- aims to design, build and evaluate a service infrastructure that demonstrates cross-border interoperability between electronic health record systems in Europe

Open PHACTS
is an IMI project that builds a discovery platform that integrates pharmacological data from a variety of information resources and provides tools and services to question this integrated data to support pharmacological research

BioASQ
is a challenge on biomedical semantic indexing and question answering, which is related to the PONTE semantic search engine

SemanticHealthNet
is an FP7 NoE project which aims at developing a scalable process (at organisational and governance level) for semantic interoperability across clinical and biomedical knowledge with a particular focus on ensuring that EHR systems across healthcare serve the needs of patient care, public health and clinical research

www.semantichealthnet.eu
SALUS
is an FP7 project which focuses on providing a standard-based interoperability framework that will enable execution of safety studies for mining and analyzing real-time patient data in communication with disparate heterogeneous EHR systems

open
EHR
is about enabling ICT to effectively support healthcare, medical research and related areas
Technically, openEHR is about creating specifications, open source software and tools for such a platform. In the clinical space, it is about creating high-quality, re-usable clinical models of content and process - known as archetypes - along with formal interfaces to terminology

Joinup
(developed from Semic) helps European public administrations set up efficient and effective cross-border and cross-sector electronic collaborations. It allows professionals to share interoperability solutions for public administrations, and to find, choose, re-use and develop Open-Source Software and semantic interoperability assets

CDISC
is a global, open, multidisciplinary, non-profit organization that has established standards to support the acquisition, exchange, submission and archive of clinical research data and metadata. The CDISC mission is to develop and support global, platform-independent data standards that enable information system interoperability to improve medical research and related areas of healthcare. CDISC standards are vendor-neutral, platform-independent and freely available via the CDISC website
